 Live3D is a powerful, easy-to-use add-on for MapInfo Professional for editing, analyzing, annotating and publishing photo-realistic interactive 3D environments. It allows users to shape their own digital world. By editing and annotating geo-referenced 3D terrain databases created through TerraBuilder, users can customize the experience to highlight specific geographic content. By overlaying unique or proprietary information onto a 3D map creates an exciting, interactive application to highlight specific features of an area, showing function, relation and proximity along with a distinct view of the area.Live3D is delivered with a world-wide, digital terrain-model so that you can immediately work with it.

Photo-realistic terrains and objects

Equip your three-dimensional buildings with wall and window-textures or add the matching ones from a selection of roof-forms. When you combine high-resolution air photographs, you get "genuinely looking" facades and streets. But also mountains appear in 3D. Virtual flights over the landscape and cities are possible now.

Additionally, you can add 3D-objects like vehicles, trees, streetlights or fences from the included object-library in order to shape the map even more realistically. You can move the vehicles independently on pre-determined routes or they can be controlled by GPS-signals. It is even possible to show planes or helicopters in the air and let them fly.

Visualize your own geodata

With Live3D, you get the whole world as a three-dimensional globe in form of satellite-images and the underlaid elevation-model. Use it to build your own applications with it. It is very easy to use your own data like real estates, land-register-data, managements or vehicles into the 3D-map. Of course, you can use also high-resolution air-photogrphs and detailed elevation-models in order to increase the precision. Live3D is ideal for business areas like tourism, real estate-brokers, city-planning, rescue-services as well as agriculture and forest.

Integrated in MapInfo Professional

With Live3D, you remain in your accustomed work-space and additionally get the possibility to move interactively in the three-dimensional map. With Live3D, you can simply switch your complete map-layers in the 3D-window per drag and drop to make 3D-maps from "flat" data. Now, you can look at the buildings or whole streets from all viewpoints and can navigate through it.
